• How $10K can make your home simply better

    Over the last month you might know we have been running a competition to give away $10,000 to the best 140 character explanation of why $10,000 from RAMS would make your life simply better.

    It seems there’s a lot of people who would like their life made more simple, better or both…

    We had more than 3,000 entries and we now know that most home loving Australians are concerned with the following things:

    1. Dodgy bathrooms
    2. Kitchens that look like history projects
    3. Saving for a deposit
    4. Running out of room for children to play
    5. Getting a new BBQ
    6. Paying down your mortgage quickly!

    More unusual or niche concerns/desires were:

    1. Rubber non-slip kitchen flooring
    2. Electric cycle racks
    3. Saunas (I can relate to that - view TV ad)

    It’s been great fun and I’d like to thank everyone who entered, there were some great, funny, desperate, pleading and very cheeky entries which have raised a number of smiles amongst the flock at RAMS HQ.

    Huge congratulations to our winner who we will post a smiling picture of in the coming days.

    Have a fantastic holiday season and I look forward to seeing you around the country in 2012.
