Advice for future home owners

Q: What advice would you give someone looking to buy a home? 

I think it's get the home loan first, or at least know how much you're going to spend. 

Research the area. Research the market. Research the agency or the developers. Yeah, just make sure you know what you're getting. 

It was really finding out what we were both interested in so that we could buy somewhere that we both love. It's not about one or the other. 

My piece of advice would be save more than you think you have to. Really know that you've got everything covered because when we went to the solicitors, there was just a whole lot of things we hadn't even thought of. 

You need somebody to understand pretty much the process. 

Understand the evaluations of the properties as well, 'cause I've got a very long relationship with my specialist and I trust him heaps. So for me, it's a very important part of the process.
