RAMS appoints Ainslie van Onselen as Executive Director

RAMS, a member of the Westpac Banking Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ainslie van Onselen to the role of Executive Director.

Ms van Onselen commenced her role on 1 November 2016, and will oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of the RAMS business. She will lead a network of over 80 franchises that provide expert home loan advice and innovative products to help Australians enter the housing market.

“I am incredibly passionate about the RAMS brand. With a focus on customer service and a commitment to the communities we operate in, RAMS has shown a genuine commitment over many years supporting Australians to achieve their home ownership goals and I am honoured to be appointed to the role of Executive Director.

“As a former business owner, I am looking forward to working with the many franchisees that have contributed to the success of RAMS, and helping many customers who are striving to buy, build and own their own home,” she said.

Ms van Onselen has vast leadership experience in both the financial service and legal sectors in Australia. She joins RAMS after three years at the Westpac Group, where she was employed as the former Chief of Staff to Brian Hartzer, Chief Executive Officer, Westpac Group, and most recently Director, Women's Markets and Inclusion & Diversity where she delivered a number of transformational projects.

For more than 15 years, Ms van Onselen has also been involved in a variety of publicly-listed, government and not-for-profit boards.
