That is they have good schools, good public transport and great retailing. What makes these streets unique however, is that they also have beautiful homes. So people are looking here not just to buy, but also to have a bit of sticky beak. The most in-demand street in Melbourne is Regent Street, Elsternwick. You might remember Regent Street, Elsternwick from the 2017 series of The Block. So not only is it a great place to live but it also got a lot of publicity from that show. The most in-demand street in Sydney is Cross Street Mosman. Mosman is a great suburb, but Cross Street also has beautiful big homes. The most in-demand street in Brisbane is Dauphin Terrace in Highgate Hill. Dauphin Terrace has mix of houses and apartments but it's also pretty close to the CBD. Gordon Street in Kurralta Park is Adelaide's favourite street. It's a no through road so gets little traffic and it's also close to the CBD. Faraday Street in Hobart is Tasmania's most in-demand street. It's within walking distance to the city and mainly includes period homes. Hunter Street in Yarralumla is the ACT's most in-demand street. It's located close to Sterling Park and consists primarily of big family homes. The Northern Territory's most in demand street is McCartney Street in Fannie Bay. Fannie Bay is a great location and McCartney Street has some beautiful homes. In Perth, Walter Street in Claremont is the most in-demand street. It's located next to a great school and also close to public transport.
