Local small business owner inducted into elite RAMS John Macarthur Club

Local RAMS small business owner, Robyn Cheal joined an elite group as she was inducted into theRAMS John Macarthur Club at the annual RAMS National Franchise Awards 2014 gala dinner.

To honour her commitment to RAMS and long-term business excellence, Robyn Cheal of RAMS Home Loan Centre Penrith, joined a group of only five other members in this prestigious club, which was founded in 2012.

RAMS CEO, Martine Jager said the John Macarthur Club was established to recognise consistent top performance and reward franchisees who have contributed significantly to the success of RAMS.

"Robyn is held in high regard by her colleagues and is a consistent high achiever. This accolade is a true testament to the breadth and depth of experience she brings to not only the RAMS business, but also to the mortgage industry," Ms Jager said.

In the pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit of wool pioneer, John Macarthur who helped grow the Australian economy in the early 19th century, to qualify for exclusive membership, franchisees must have met RAMS' required minimum loan book size and have met annual settlement targets.

"All inductees of the John Macarthur Club are exceptional role models within the mortgage profession, seeking to always put the customer first, and striving for continual improvement and success.  Robyn is a great advocate for the industry and is an excellent corporate citizen, making her a very deserving inductee.

"In additional to her outstanding achievements to qualify for the Club, with over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, Robyn is a high quality ambassador for the RAMS brand and the perfect addition to the John Macarthur Club legacy," said Ms Jager.

Robyn said she began her RAMS career almost a decade ago. "Nine years ago I started with RAMS, eager to help as many Australians as possible realise the great Australian dream of home ownership.  Together with the remarkable team at the RAMS Home Loan Centre Penrith, we have helped over 2,000 customers into homes -it is why we come to work each day.

"The entire team is committed to providing exceptional service through commitment, hard-work and constantly listening to our customers.  To be inducted into the John Macarthur club is a huge honour, not just for me but for all of my teammates - it is great recognition for the work we all do," Robyn said.

The 2014 RAMS National Franchise Awards were held on Friday 29 August.
