      1. Apply for a RAMS Saver online, or if you're an existing customer with myRAMS access, through myRAMS

      2. Manage your savings online via myRAMS where you can:

      • transfer funds between RAMS accounts
      • transfer funds externally within Australia using Pay Anyone via Electronic Funds Transfer
      • obtain details of your transactions, balances and interest earned
      • update your postal address, telephone number or email address

      3. Grow your money  

      Maximise your savings potential by arranging regular direct deposits such as your salary with your employer or by making regular payments from other institutions, into your RAMS Saver account. Note: regular payments cannot be made from Westpac accounts.

    • Who can apply?

      You can apply for a RAMS Saver account if you:

      • are an individual, and do not hold the account as a trustee of a trust or a superannuation fund, or on behalf of a deceased estate (two account holders allowed)
      • are an Australian resident for taxation purposes with an Australian residential address
      • are 18 years of age or over and
      • hold a valid email address and Australian mobile number

      What information do I need when I apply?

      Apart from your personal information such as name, date of birth and address details, you’ll also need to provide:

      • Australian residential address and your Australian mobile number
      • Drivers Licence details (optional)
      • Your Tax File Number or exemption code (this is optional but if you choose not to provide it, we are required to deduct withholding tax at the highest marginal tax rate plus the Medicare Levy

      We can even try to verify your identity online so you may not need to provide any paperwork.
