Financial Hardship and Disaster Relief
NSW and South East QLD Flood Relief - $3000 emergency grants for households
RAMS customers in flood-affected areas can access grants of $3,000 to help with costs for essential items and services.*
RAMS has also released its emergency assistance package to customers in flood-affected areas in New South Wales and South-East Queensland.
Customers who need assistance can contact RAMS Assist on 1800 143 075 to discuss their individual needs and circumstances. For Home and Content Insurance claims customers can call 1300 652 334, 24/7.

For emergency assistance in storms and floods, contact the NSW or Queensland State Emergency Service on 132 500 or call 000 (triple zero) for life-threatening emergencies.
*Eligibility criteria for RAMS customers:
- Aged 18 years or over and reside in a flood-affected postcode in New South Wales or South-East Queensland.
- Current RAMS customers who have a home loan and/or active Savings/Transaction account with RAMS prior to 20 March 2021.
- Have experienced severe impact to their primary place of residence caused by or as a result of the floods (rent or own) – meaning that the property is no longer in a liveable condition.
- One grant per household (a household is defined as a residential address).
- Applies to primary residences as per RAMS customer records on 20 March 2021.

When we become aware of your situation, we will assess your circumstances on a case by case basis to see what arrangements or options may be suitable for you.

A short term fixed/reduced repayment for an amount below the current minimum monthly repayment
A short term moratorium or deferral of repayments
